Below is a short paragraph about my unusual school that I learned in my English writing literacy class. Enjoy reading!
I go to an unusual school. My unusual school is in Cambodia and it’s called the Liger Learning Center (LLC). LLC is a school that provides scholarships to intelligent kids that come from many provinces around Cambodia. There are 50 students and about 30 to 35 staff including the foreigners and Cambodians. In my school we have a different learning curriculum from other schools which is called an Exploration. An Exploration is a project that a group of 12 or 13 students can explore outside of the campus to get a real life experience to help change their country. Liger curriculum doesn’t just have Explorations, but also other things we do are Expertise, Extensions, and Essentials (Khmer, Math, Literacy and STEM). I have been on many trips in Exploration class and one of my favorite trips was to go to Singapore to do a robotics competition. I was really delighted because I’m the only child in my family that has had a chance to travel to another country. I was really proud of myself because I’m a lucky child that has a great opportunity to study in an incredible school that my family doesn’t have to pay for. I really love to study at Liger because I have really good friends, teachers, and other staff.
